A special good luck to everyone who is getting married this year!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope that this year more bees will be getting crossed of the list maybe even me.
Did everyone have a good New years?? I can't wait to hear what everyone did!! I see we have a few bees to cross off the list - so CONGRATS to everyone who got some bling AND some champagne over the last couple of days! And yes to the ladies in waiting, 2010 is our year!!
The engagement chicken was a HUGE success :) (In fact, it was so good I'm almost assuredly going to have to make it again very soon!) I think the estimated wait time is supposed to be ~ 2 months, so we shall see! We had a pretty involved conversation about how this year we need to start being responsible, and decided on a timeframe for getting married (probably in the next 2 yrs), buying a place together (in ~5 years), and how much we'd money we'd like to put away this year, and how much we want to spend on our wedding vs. how much we want to shell out for a new home. I am slowly starting to feel better about things and I can only hope things keep moving forward this way!

I'm off to go shopping and get ready for my engagement chicken dinner with my BF this evening before heading to a party, but I just wanted to wish everyone a happy New Year and I hope everyone has a fantastic (and safe) evening!
I also wanted to say a HUGE thanks to all the waiting bees and recent grads out there. 2009 hasn't been the best year for me, partly because of all of my relationship woes, and I am SOOOO completely thankful that luck and chance brought me to this site. You are all wonderful people and I wish you all nothing but happiness. I wish nothing but the best for everyone here, and I hope your 2010s are off to a happy, healthy and rollicking start!
