FI and I have our anniversary on Sunday and I, being the wonderful FI that I am, am making concessions for football. SO Saturday night we are going to nice romatic dinner, and Sunday I'm hitting the bar with him for some beer and football. I know, I know. I'm wonderful.
It is raining and gross out here so tonight I'm thinking comfy pants, couch, and some Gossip Girl on DVD.
Busy weekend ahead for me!
Tonight I have to go and get a bridal shower gift after work, then go for a run. Tomorrow I have a bridal shower that's like a 2 hour train ride away! And tomorrow night, planning Halloween costumes with FI.
Sunday we're going to meet with the woman who is hopefully going to be our photographer, and swinging by my alma mater's bookstore on the way back. Then getting home right in time to watch the Giants smack the Raiders ;o)
I'm going to go shopping for me and my hubby's halloween costumes, do a little homework, get my 2 doggies groomed, and clean the house. Nothing too exciting. How bout you MsWhiskersLouise??

I got a call this morning asking for a resume/references, so I need to email them to the caller.
BF tasked me with reading up on installing the garbage disposal. So I am kinda doing that...
This weekend, I am certain it is not, unless this magician man knows something I don't. He said in the past I'd probably have to start harassing him about it, and since I am not one to nag/harass, I see no reason for it to be happening this weekend. Or next. Or the following... >.>
Ah well.
@Kittyachi: I know, it's GROSS in the city, isn't it? I'm thinking Indian food and horror movies ;o)
I am currently waiting impatiently to hear about an offer we made on a house! Like, I keep checking my phone every 5 minutes to make sure I didn't miss any calls.
I work at a bank so I have a three day weekend (WOO HOO) and plan on wrapping up some loose wedding ends. I'm getting married two weeks from tomorrow. EEK!
@bunnyprincess- I'm the opposite of you. We are waiting on the buyer's appraiser to say if they appraise the house at what we are asking!
Tomorrow we are moving some of the FI's stuff to my house, mowing his lawn for hopefully the last time! Saturday night going to a couple's shower and Sunday going to a bridal shower. He is going to cover the youth group at church while I attend the shower. I'm nervous for him those little kids can eat you alive!
Hiya its rainy here as well. dinner out with the FI tonight then probably sitting in our jammies watching tv :) tomorrow we are booking our venue then apple picking! sunday is football in the evening...go Pats! and who knows in the early afternoon, my luck probably red sox :P
Also, I've been super cranky-grumpy the past month or so, so I highly doubt anything... ring-y is coming my way any time soon.

Tonight, I'm taking a final (blech) and shopping for props.
Saturday, I'm hoping TN can pull of a win against the dreaded GA. We're favored, but we also suck, so we'll see! Saturday is pretty much football all dang day.
Sunday, I'm meeting a recently married friend for coffee and to gab wedding (yaaaay!) while the FI is at a cornhole tourney, and then.... more wedding stuff!!
Not only am I slowly wedding planning; We're also in the process of buying our first home! So i'm going to relax and hope that the coming closing month goes smoothly!!!
Well, with my current work sched, Friday is my Sunday! So, I've spent it relaxing and going nuts on the boards here...I hit 1,000 posts today! =D

i am off today and it's thanksgiving weekend here in canada, so i have a 4 day weekend!! i am doing a bunch of chores around the house and looking into what i could make FI for dinner that would knock his socks off :P
i'm alone tonight too, FI has to study. ugh. i am thinking of having a satc marathon and cutting photos out of wedding magazines! or house magazines!
Tonight I am hopefully going to get some cleaning done. If I can just avoid touching or even looking at the computer once I get home..... then I can be productive and not get sucked into WB and Facebook for hours, and next thing I know it's midnight and I've done nothing! haha
Tomorrow, I'm going to watch Virginia Tech put the smackdown on BC. 
Tomorrow night, going to a local theatre where I do a lot of shows. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is opening, and they are having a cast party afterward - haven't decided if I'm going to that yet.
Sunday I'll watch Dallas do the same thing to Kansas City hehe. Hopefully. If Romo doesn't screw it up.
Sunday is my daughter's fifth birthday party - she's crazy excited. We have the requisite moonbounce rental, and we're grilling out in the backyard, and decorating pumpkins. I think it will wind up being about 10-12 kids and 20-plus adults.
honeybun - you're in Roanoke! I went to school in Roanoke for undergrad - yes, the prissy girls' college ;-) I love that city - want to visit soon. Carlos is one of my all-time favorite restaurants.
I took off work early to come home and study for a midterm at 3:00. Sooo 1.5 hours. I'm tired, my head hurts, and I just wanna take the damn thing! dH is in town, too. Haven't seen him in 5 weeks, so i kicked him out of the house so i could focus. Except i'm on WB, talking about sex on the sex/no sex board. Sigh. We are going out for toasted raviolis tonight. I'm pretty pumped
Well unfortunatley I have caught a cold, so I'll be in bed blowing my nose all weekend :(
No work today! So that's exciting ... what's not exciting is the laundry and cleaning I'm doing instead. Then I'm going to a new cafe in town with a good friend I haven't seen in a few months ... and then FI and I get to see eachother! Yay yay yay! He got off work early - but a 15 hour day yesterday and work at 7am today made him very very tired so he's napping until this evening. I'm presuming we'll go play poker at his friend's house with him and his wife. Which is always fun, actually!
Then, tomorrow = work. And figuring out where to get insurance for the car I'm going to be borrowing from my father ...
And Sunday is a country music festival with the family and FI and then a band comprised of a great group of my friends is playing at a club that night! And thankfully - monday's a bank holiday so I can party party party!
Peyton, I haven't been to Carlos in forever... When I bought the tickets, my bf said maybe after magician we could go to "a fancy dinner", which is usually code for Carlos, but I think he's forgot, and I don't think I'm in the mood for it.
Oh! And honeybun, bf and I were at the state fair on the 26?25? whichever Saturday that was, and found it hilarious that they were announcing the VT game score over the PA.
FI and I are gonna go out for dinner, nothing too fancy, but we usually only eat out of the house once every 2 or 3 weeks (i know we're good lol) and then we are gonna hit up a local sports bar with some friends! he is off from work tomorrow so we can to sleep in...then saturday i am hitting up yankee candle to smell their new winter line (highly recommended!) then sunday it's Church then relaxing in my jammies!
I'm taking my FI on a 'surprise date' tonight. Planned the whole night and won't give him any details. We like to do this for one another :-) He asked me to keep a certain night free in November for the "most romantic date he's ever gone on". Love him!! Tomorrow house stuff, Sunday picking up our pumpkin and having the most awesome homemade donuts and hot cider at the apple farm, and we have Monday off--yay!
Getting a new license with my new last name...YAY! Feel the excitement?? OK, I am not that excited to sit in line for an hour or so to update the damn card...
Other than that, my hubby and I are treating my cousin, who is on leave from Iraq, to lunch then we will return home to pack, pack, pack!

I'm off to my family's cabin this weekend- just me and the boy. We go up probably twice a month, but are usually engaged in Wii battles with my hermanitas and cooking experiments with my chef-y father, so it will be nice to be alone (although, I admit, a bit too quiet!)
Sunday night we're doing dinner on the beach with his mama. Familia and fun this weekend. My fav!
Although there will be quite a few trips to the gym. Not my fav. I wonder if I'll EVER actually like working out... survey says: NO!
Roddy- That's so exciting! Ok, not the waiting in line until the point of insanity part- but the whole new-last-name-new-hubby part is super sparkly fun!
@Roddy: Oooh I did that 2 weekends ago. I got their right then the DOL opened but everyone else apparently had the same idea. There weren't even any more chairs available so I had to sit on the cold hard floor for 2 hours until it was my turn!! Good luck, hope your wait is quick :)

honeybun - that's funny!! When I lived in Roanoke, I used to eat there all the time - every birthday, college graduation, and all kinds of special occasions. They were downtown then. I've gone back twice since I left Roanoke. Once was to celebrate after I took the Virginia bar exam and once was when my mother was considering moving there. Now I want to go for another visit! That avocado viniagrette dressing is seriously the best salad dressing I've ever had.
MsWhiskersLouise I wish I knew that this would be my special weekend! :( But I have no big plans, just hanging out with my guy tonight and going to a wine bar! Saturday I will be hitting the gym and resting! Hope you have a great weekend!
I'm about to quit my job... not because I want to either. Grrr!

@HCritton - UGH! Everytime I drive past this DMV it is ALWAYS crowded. Like a line out the door about two stores down before the place even opens... I am hoping it will be 1.5 hours TOPS! I gots stuff to do :)

@Peyton: yes, it is the best!!!!!!!! One of the people that own it (Carlos' sister) - her two sons are good friends of ours now. Just got back from the Bahamas with one of them, and the other one is the pastry chef there, and is going to make our wedding cake! LOL
Tonight - gym with honey ..then grocery shoppin ( its right next to it ) ..
tomor - working Ot ..then go home , get the Std's ready to be sent out ..woo hoo! and then maybe laundry ..uuuggghhh ...
Sunday and Monday ( i have off here ) ..Nothing that i know of .. Prob gym Monday ..and SLEEP ..my god ..i need that so bad , i looked in the mirror at work , and my eyes look like they have their bags packed and ready to go on vaca ..LOL..
