I just got a new, full-time job. With full benefits. Part of the power imbalance in our relationship has been that I worked part time with no benefits, while he enjoys full benefits with his full time job. We talked about marrying for me to get his insurance, but I'm so glad we didn't. We are still working through things. I feel so much more powerful now!
