I think I am finally in the last, most wonderful stage of waiting… just plain anticipation!!
Our vacation to Mexico is just 20 days away and I’m certain he’s going to propose while we’re there! We’re leaving on valentine’s day and we’re coming back on our anniversary! (Seriously, how perfect is that?) I know the ring is somewhere in the house and I just can’t wait to see it!!! The excitement is hard to bare, but so awesome at the same time!
It’s just great that all the doubt and hurt feelings that sometimes goes hand-in-hand with waiting is finally done with… I can just look forward to the good to come!
To all those still in the sucky parts of waiting, I’d just like to say “this too shall pass”. 🙂
Also, I’d like too say that my SO pretty much told me when he was going to propose, and we also chose our ring together so I know what it looks like (although I haven’t seen the finished ring with our stone set in it!), but let me just say it hasn’t ruined anything AT ALL! So any of you out there who are worried you ruined your proposal by helping choose the ring or hearing some of his plans, just know it’s not ruined at all! I haven’t even been proposed to yet and I’m already bursting at the seams… I’ll probably be knocked off my feet the moment he actually asks me to be his wife!
I’d also like to thank everyone here for being so supportive. It was so nice to have a place to vent and all the bees here have such good insights and advice!
My journey isn’t exactly over yet, but it’s almost there and I am SOOOO EXCITED! omg! hahaha!

I really hope the proposal comes at the beginning of the vacation so you can relax and enjoy the rest of your time in Mexico. Maybe he’ll do it right before you leave!

I could not agree more with the saying “This too shall pass.” Yeah waiting sucks, and I wouldn’t wish it upon anything. But in most cases it ends and when it ends it is AMAZING!!
@DeathByDesign: I can’t wait to see your gradiation post!!! And your stunning ring. Did you get the one with the yellow gold band and the white gold basket?

@Mrs.LetsGoPens: It’s 18k yellow gold with a platinum basket! I love yellow gold.
