Would appreciate your thoughts on two dresses that I’d like for my wedding reception – I’ve spent a week thinking about the two but still can’t decide.
I love the tulle in dress 2, but because it’s long sleeved, I’m afraid that it might be too hot for a summer wedding! Would love to see what you think!

i do like dress 2 but i feel like dress 1 will be way more ez to move around and have fun in i like long arms for the vows and stuff butsince its the party dress i would want the 1st so you can move freely and not have to worry of anyting getting dirty

Both are really gorgeous, but I agree with the PP – the first dress looks much more comfortable and easy to move in. Lace can be difficult unless it’s properly fitted, and you run the risk of having sleeves that are too tight or too loose…and I feel like lace in the summer, especially if you’re planning to dance and move around, will be uncomfortable.

I love #2, but am thinking you can cut the sleeves off to whatever length. Both are beautiful though!

Dress number 1 for sure! It’s beautiful! Dress number 2, I feel, makes even the skinny model look wider than she is.

I prefer the 2nd, but maybe you should keep looking.

Dress number one for sure! I like that the waist is accentuated. I feel like the second dress looks like something I can find in Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters that hipsters wear with funky boots or a cargo jacket or something. The first looks like a classy bride, like I would need a place to go to to wear it.
On the other hand, I’m a fan of the bride wearing her wedding dress in the reception.

@chuawt: OMG OMG I LOVE DRESS 1!!! Seriously, my heart jumped and I need to know the designer for my own reception dress!! Please!
ETA: the second one looks like a winter dress. even if you were to cut the sleeves to make it off the shoulder or something, I still think the dress is ‘wintery’ in nature.

@chuawt: Hmmm not sure I can vote b/c I am torn. I love the top of # 1 but the bottom of # 2!

Any chance we could see a pic of your Ceremony Dress ?
Or maybe you could tell us a bit about the theme / style of your Wedding & Reception.
That will make it easier to decide what complements each

I really love dress 2. Everything about it, really. As long as the sleeves don’t bother you, I would go with that dress.

The first one’s cute and flirty. But the second is more classic and feminine. Depends on the vibe you are trying to project. I prefer the second one though. The detail of the lace sleeves is to die for!!!
