On a small side note, I read an interesting article about the Harry Potter franchise vs the Twilight franchise! I think it's in the WS journal?

yay HP fans. :) :) I can not wait to see Half Blood Prince on Sunday! Ah!
I love HP and can't wait for the Half Blood Prince. I won't be watching it tomorrow but hopefully soon!
I can't wait to take the kids to this. In fact I'm more excited than they are. When I asked them if they wanted me to take them, they said they're rather go to the Aliens in the Attic movie - Eww! Too bad kiddos - it's HP for us!
I think it's rather silly of the WSJ article to say that Harry Potter is changing to compete with Twilight. The story line, romance included, was written long before the Edward-Bella craze began. I've been disappointed with HP movies before but I don't think this is going to be one of them! Can't wait to see it!
I don't think it's even logical to compare Twilight's fan base and Harry Potter's. Twilight's fan base is 90% female and all very young.
While Harry Potter's fan base is equally male and female and I would bet money that the majority of Harry's fans are now all entering adult hood or are adults. Harry's been out for awhile now, everyone who loved him years and years ago have now all grown up, just like Harry is.
Plus the movies are getting much darker and more violent so that will discourage alot of parents from letting their young children go see these last 2 movies. (or 3 since Deathly Hallows will be 2 movies I hear.) But then again I live in the Bible Belt where if you were a Harry fan back in the day then you were going to hell.

Anyone else see Daniel Radcliffe's interview on David Letterman? I'm also watching Goblet of Fire on TV right now, because I'm completely HP-obsessed and keyed up for the big release!
