I haven't done it but I'm planning to...sorry if this is pic heavy. These are some of my inspiration pictures, I don't exactly know what I want yet.
Bumping...I also want to wear my hair like this and would love to see some real brides!
Here is what it looks like with my dress, I just did a trial before i went to pic out my dress, I decided not to do it because I think that my hair is so dark it doesnt show up well in photos.
@Missloveknot: I love your hairrrr! I may just have to pin your picture on pinterest (don't worry just the back of your hair won't be creepy :) )
Haha, that's fine :) I LOVED it when I got it done, I told my hairdresser I wanted something with braids and she just threw it together. It felt amazing too, I just wish my hair was a little lighter
@Missloveknot: I not only love your hairrrr, but also your wedding dress! it's gorgeous! Which designer of it? And how much? BTW, you're very beautiful as well ;-)
@ILoveMicheal: wow, thank you so much for the wonderful compliments! My dress is Paloma Blanca 4208, it was $2650. I am so glad you like it because I was going back in forth with a little dress regret. You definitely gave me a confidence boost :)

The Jessica Alba updo that I see a few of you have already posted has been one of my favorites!
I am having an outdoor wedding in a state park, and hopefully will even have a bonfire and s'mores! Therefore I feel that I braided updo would be a good mix of wedding formality while still being somewhat laid back.
This was my hair trial! Don't mind the hairpiece. I'm definitely going to move it.
I plan on doing a braided updo for the wedding! I'm not 100% sure which style yet, but this board is great inspiration!

Yea, I'm kind of a hippie… Before I bought my dress, I had the idea of a half down, half braids grecian kind of look, but than I choose a 1 shoulder dress so that doesn't work. But I'm still hung up on braids! So, I'd love to see some on real brides, the more angles the better!!
