I think you should listen to your body and eat some food.

I’m not a big fan of “cleanses”. Letting yourself get so hungry sets you up for failure and wrecks your mood. I would have a small but healthy meal. You’ll feel better.

I try to just eat food with nutritional value when I want to tone up/lose weight/feel better/be healthier. It actually works really well! I have a friend who does specific diets or cleanses instead and he never keeps weight off… Although we also have different activity levels and metabolisms.

My mom juices and absolutely loves it. She can’t work out that much because she has some disks in her back that are messed up. I have tried it here and there but I do a lot of strength training so I need to eat but she says after the first few days its get a LOT easier! Your body gets used to the juice and they start to fill you up more.. It’s just the few first days that are the hardest. Also, if you throw some chia seeds in after you make the juice they also will help you feel more full (And they are really good for you!)

Good luck!!

I’m not saying all juicing is bad but please be careful and smart about it, especially in terms of juice cleanses.

I have a friend at this very moment in the hospital recovering from a Cardiac Arrest brought on by a juice cleanse – threw his electrolytes way out of wack, which triggered the arrest. He collapsed while out with his running group on sunday and just this evening was brought out of a medically induced coma, they had to put him in a hypothermic state so his body could recover.

Obviously, this is an extreme case but it’s something to think about before doing anything drastic.

Sorry to be a downer – but this just happened so it’s fresh in my mind
