Hi Everyone,
I've been reading the site for over a year and have found the ladies on here to be insightful. In fact, I've never needed to register because every question I've had all year had already been discussed when I started looking. You guys are great!
Here's my dilemma:
I've purchased my crinoline with the intention of dying it. I bought a cheap one at Goodwill to "play" with first. I dyed that one this weekend, and had a unique situation that I haven't seen anyone mention. On the one that I dyed, the inner slip and netting dyed great. The outer layer only dyed very lightly, and looks terrible.
I didn't check the tag before dying and now can't read it, so don't know what it was made of, but seemed pretty standard.
Who has dyed a crinoline from david's bridal? Do all layers dye consistently? I'm getting married in 3 weeks so really need to figure this out.
Thanks for any help you can give!
