So, i think its a totally cute idea, and I REALLY want to dye mine purple. THe only thinkg im freakin’ about, is will it turn the inside of my dress and/or legs purple?? Ive seen many-a-post about dying it, but no ones ever really mentioned if it bled onto the inside of the dress or your legs. My dress is a Magge Sottero, Jenna. And I have to say my legs were sweating a bit when I was standing there for 30 minutes with the seamstress. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, I had my crinolne dyed by a seller on etsy. The price included the slip too.

I dyed my crinoline using the washing machine. If it is washed after the dye sets, your skin or dress won’t be stained.

i went through a phase where I thought I would die if I didnt get my crinoline dyed I searched through the DIY section and found some helpful instructions but then I changed my mind about it later when I had to add more tulle to my crinoline.

@Jenbee: Nooooooooo! The slip that goes under the dress, to make it more poofy. 🙂

I haven’t yet but I’m planning on it. Need to wait for the dye to arrive, as it turns out my crinoline is polyester and needs special dye. I’ll probably post about it once it’s done.

Check out DawnsAtelier on Etsy…she makes crinny in different colors…she’s making mine and I can’t wait to get it…I thought about dying mine, but I want several different colors and was afraid I’d screw it up and end up with a brown mess!
