Yes, yes, yes. We’re only 6 weeks out and it has hit like a ton of bricks. I’m not an emotional person, but this process and the stress of work (I’m a teacher and the semester is coming to an end…so.much.grading.) is getting to me. My fiance works full time and is in school to finish his BA in Business Administration. I love him to frickin pieces, but he is such a damn procrastinator. He puts off all work until the last minute! I was a first year teacher last year and in Grad school and planning the wedding so I get SO frustrated with him when he can’t take a minute to help with wedding stuff because he has “so much to do”. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a busy guy and he loves helping make decisions! Sometimes, it’s just like AHHHH! Don’t put off your work every week and this wouldn’t happen! You are totally not alone. Pamper yourself! Have some wine (if you drink), get a massage (I invested in monthly massages and they are wonderful), take a weekend/few days and do not think about the wedding…at all! Remember, it’s one day and all that matters is at the end of it, you’ve just married the love of your life.

@7yearlovestory:  My advice…breathe. Take it week by week. Trust me, this time of year frickin flies by in teaching. There is a lot on your plate, but help use that as an excuse to push some of the plans onto him. Make sure you give yourself a cut off time each evening and do not work or think about the wedding after that time. Dedicate at least one day each weekend to doing absolutely nothing but stuff you want to (sleeping, laying in bed, going out with your FI or friends, etc.). You have got to give yourself some “you” time!
