Does it count if my sister opened one and shoved an ad in my face saying “THIS IS MA DRESS!” *insert girly squeal here*

I myself have never purchased, willingly browsed, read, or desired to own a bridal magazine. And I hope I never will — if I do, that might be the same day i lose my sanity.

I don’t need the expensive magazines when I have the internet for free!

I bought a couple Martha Stewart ones, but that’s mainly for DIY ideas and because I <3 Martha.  I have never bought a normal bridal magazine.

I bought one for fun way back in high school!  I wish I could have kept it to see what the trends were back then!  Since becoming engaged, I wasn’t interested in buying any since there’s so much information on the net these days.  I did get a few free ones from bridal shows and I’ve taken a peek through those.

I have 14 of them … all but three bought for 50 cents at Half-Price books. (If you have one near you, go. It is the most wonderful store ever.) I just like looking and laughing at all the humongo dresses that I honestly don’t think anyone would ever wear. BF just shakes his head when I show him. But he loves that I found something that brings me extreme amusement and joy.

Plus, the magazines were only 50 cents! When they are normally $10 and I got them for 50 cents it just makes my day. I’ve only actually found one thing in all of those magazines that I plan to use at my whenever-it-is wedding. I may have a problem…
