What kind of headpiece?

I made a birdcage veil and it took maybe 15 minutes and less than $2. I’m thinking of embellishing it now, though. I don’t think it’ll be hard.

The birdcage mentioned above has tons of tutorials online. You can also find a lace ‘applique’ and create something with that by adding barrettes and/or pearls, rhinestones, etc..

I have made one so far: I am working on a second one to see which one I like more. This took me about 3 days. I was super bored

I’d reccomend it. I have made mine and apart from thoroughly enjoying it I have saved a lot of money. What kinda thing you thinking? Veil? Head jewellery (like tiara etc) or like a hair clip. I would recommend looking at videos on youtube (theres loads of diy thigns on there) as well as on instructables or just good old google. If you try you may be pleasantly suprised! x

My headpiece was a fascinator with attached birdcage-like veil.  It had ivory feathers, beads and pheasant feathers attached and a little coonhound bobble in the middle.  I unfortuantely do not have a good picture of it, but here is one of me wearing it, (to show that it didn’t look as tacky as it sounds.  LOL!)
