Has anyone ever used a florist from the LA flower market to make arrangements?

A close friend of mine did for her wedding last summer. On the day of the wedding when they were delivered, the flowers WERE NOT AT ALL WHAT SHE ORDERED. She had met with that florist MANY TIMES and when tried to call the florist that day to find out what happened, no one from the shop would pick up the phone. The flowers that came were pretty enough, but they were not what she ordered or wanted.

I would vet the florist VERY WELL. Ask for at least 5 former brides to call for references, ask those brides for pictures and look them up on Facebook to make sure they are real people  (not someone who works at the flower shop or the florists friend).

Just do your homework and you should be fine!!!! Good luck!!!!

Here’s my recommendation – just go down to the flower district and walk around and go I to the shops and see how you are treated and how you feel! A lot of those places unfortunately don’t have websites, but the flower district isn’t too big so you should be able to explore the whole area in an afternoon.
