Just wondering what your experiences were if you have. I’ve been reading online about it lasting only up to 2 days, but it also says that everyone is different. I shouldn’t get my period until about a week from now and I’ve have some spotting/ very light bleeding for about 3 days now. I highly doubt it’s a period cause my symptoms are not typical for me.

@1112bride: I experienced it about 1-2 weeks before my cycle was due but I just blew it of as bleeding between periods. We weren’t ttc so it really didn’t cross my mind until a “real” period didn’t show up 2 weeks later. But keep your fingers crossed this could be it!

The fact that the bleeding is very light is a positive sign, but the length of time you’ve been bleeding is starting to sound more like discharge before starting a period. Stranger things have happened, of course — good luck. If it started two days ago, there’s a chance you could test today and get a positive.
While I didn’t have implantation bleeding, I did have an implantation dip on my chart and tested faintly-positive 2 days later. 4 days later, it was blazing positives across the board.

this cycle i’ve been spotting dpo5-8 so far. i don’t expect AF until thursday, so i have no idea what is going to happen between now and then.

@1112bride: I had implantation bleeding, and mine did last for about 3-4 days. Mine was heavier than spotting though, so I thought it was my period. My periods were normally very light (3-4 days) due to having been on BCP. I had to use my cup that time but it wasn’t heavier than a “normal” period for me. I think that type of implantation bleeding is fairly unusual, but it obviously does happen. That was also my first month off of BCP, so I don’t know if it’s possible that had some effect on it.

yep. i actually thought it was just spotting before my period like my previous cycle (got pregnant on my 2nd cycle off bc so i wasn’t sure what was normal for my body at that point).it lasted for 2 days then stopped

Thanks for sharing everyone, the human body is an unusual thing, that’s for sure.
