I’m just wondering because, I’m in school and have been for 4 years now. I have just learned that the classes I need in order to just get my AA will be cut until further notice (and a counseler has told me it may take 2-3 years, if that fast, for the class to possibly come back). And I’ve been lookng around at different colleges for the classes, and some have one, and some have the other. But I’m just feeling really lost, because everywhere these classes are being dropped like a hat.
Anyway, my Fiance has just gone through WYOTECH for electrician, has got an amazing job that starts at 20 and he just got a two dollar raise after a month. I’m feeling very upset, because his program was not even a year, and he has this AMAZING opportunity and is making BANK.
I feel like, for the moment, I want something as well. At least until my classes come back, if they ever do. All I wanted was to help special needs children, and it seems it will take 5 more years in order to accomplish this.
Anyway, has anyone gone to any of those fast track schools for job training and such. I just want something fast for right now, and maybe will persue my career later, when things calm down.
Thank you so much!
