At 2 years you already have an itch for something bigger? Damn, that’s some eager upgrade schedule!

Edit to answer your question. NO! Perhaps an upgrade in like 10-20 years from now.

I have! No regrets here! If you can afford it and your DH is ok with it, why not??

Your rings are so classic and pretty!! I think if you both agree on a new set, go for it! You could also reset your current diamond in a different setting…I’m sure you could fine one like the ones you picked out above, but using your original stone..if it’s sentimental to you.

My husband and I are renewing our vows next spring and he wanted to upgrade my ring, I was fine leaving it, so he bought me a new right hand ring instead…so, I still have my original set, and a new one. I know that option isn’t for everyone though.

Good luck on whatever you decide!

@babyface2390:  traded in my e-ring and still have my wedding band… But it sits in a box. Lol.  I wear a different band with the new e-ring because my original is a curved band. Is your current band a princess cut channel set band? Kinna hard to tell.

My husband doesn’t care what I wear a long as I wear something.  I have run the gamut from my engagement ring, to three different moissanite rings, and am currently wearing an antique diamond set which I swear I am dying in. My wedding ring is a 1.5 mm plain white gold band, so I have worn it since we got married, by my husband only cares that I wear something on that finger. Your marriage is not in your ring, its in your heart. Do what’s right for you and blow off the girls telling you that you haven’t been married long enough. That’s not their business.

FWIW, your current set is very classy and elegant!

My husband just upgraded my wedding ring as an anniversary gift and I should be getting it back from the jeweler just before our one year anniversary next month. Although it isn’t really a “wedding set” it will be worn alone as my wedding ring. It is wide and has three rows of diamonds so at first glance it kind of looks like an e-ring sandwiched between two bands.

I am keeping my original wedding band. For a long time I thought that I would just alternate it with my new ring, but now I am thinking about resizing it to fit on my right hand so I can wear both my new and my original rings all the time. That’s something to consider! Smile

Beautiful rings, by the way!

@babyface2390:  Your set totally does not have to be matching! Mine does not “match” eaither and I love it! I’d go try on that setting with your band and see if you like it together.

I’m currently upgrading (and I’ve only been ENGAGED for 6 months)! If you can afford it do what you want! If you’ve been wanting a new ring for a while then GET ONE! I love all the photos you posted!

I personally love the set you’re interested in upgrading with. I’m 100% for upgrades. If you can and you prefer this new set, go for it!! Beautiful!!
