Has anyone had an experience where David\'s Bridal wouldn\'t exchange a dress?

I’d ask to speak to the manager directly. They usually don’t mind as long as you want an exchange and not a refund.

Can we see pics of the dress you aren’t sure about? I haven’t experienced this, but typically with things sold as-is, sales are final.

msfreemis:  There was a post yesterdy from a Bee who was pleasantly surprised when the manager agreed to make an exchange. Their policy, see below, is not to accept returns or exchanges on merchandise bought in store.

We accept online merchandise returns via mail only; online merchandise cannot be returned to our stores. Items purchased in David’s Bridal stores may not be returned or exchanged.

msfreemis:  I certainly think it is reasonable for them to see the dress before they agree to make an exception to their policy.

They may be prepared to ignore their general policy in some cases, but if for any reason they think they may not be able to re-sell the dress, they are within their rights to say no.

msfreemis:  I know they always make me sign that sales are final but they’ve always been super helpful about everything and told me that generally exchanges on unworn items can be done.

I was just in today to ask, as our venue has changed. They were more than happy to do an exchange.
