applecat:  I am obsessed with Rent the Runway! I have ordered multiple dresses and earrings from their website and have always been more than pleased. The only downside is that it’s so hard to return the items! 🙂 The shipping is always on time and if there is a problem with any of your items, they are more than willing to help fix it. They even overnighted me out a different dress when I decided I didn’t like the one I ordered… For free! I’m thinking about renting my bridesmaid dresses from their also. Enjoy!

I did RTR for my bridal shower and for our welcome party.  The dresses were fabulous and it was so great to get $350-450 dresses for under $70 and not care that the white dresses were going to get a bit stretched out looking or faded, etc.  All dresses arrived looking perfect.  I highly recommend getting 1 dress in 2 sizes and then maybe 1 additional dress, depending on your timing.  I looked amazing and kept getting compliments on my outfits.  It was soooo easy.  And if you only get 1 dress in 2 sizes but get it to arrive maybe 2 days before your event- if you try it on 2 days before and it doesn’t work, they will just send you another that does.  really wonderful and I’m going to start doing this all the time now instead of buying.

I just did RTR this past weekend for my bachelorette and I have one on reserve for my rehearsal dinner.  I use it often and it is definitely worth it and completely reliable.  The best part is you can search your measurements and see real women wearing the dresses.

My experience with RTR was great!  I also am hard to fit (pear shape too), but I picked a dress with tons of reviews so I could see a bunch of pictures of women of all proportions in the dress and read the specific fit details.  The dress was in great condition and fit very well!

I just reserved a dress for a wedding in Sept and 2 dresses for my bachelorette weekend. I’m going to Vegas for my bachelorette and they have a showroom there. I talked to a customer service rep and she said I could ship my dresses to the store and pick them up there! I can do a 4 day rental versus an 8 day this way. And I’m thinking if I have any trouble, I’ll exchange them while I’m there.

I used Rent the Runway for my engagement photo outfit. I figured why buy a dress that I’d only wear once. They’re a great company and my dress was in great shape. What’s also awesome are the customer photos that you can look through to get an idea of how the dress would fit you. Plus you can get the dress sent in an additional size if you’re worried about the fit. Totally recommend it.

One of my friends did that for her bachelorette party last summer, and has ordered more since then. She has had great experiences!

I am planning on getting a dress from there for my rehearsal as I haven’t found a white dress that I have liked enough, or would wear again. I am excited to order!

I love being able to see pictures of girls actually wearing the dresses!

I used RTR for a movie premiere (nothing super fancy), and it worked out great!  They give you an option of getting the same dress in another size for free, which is great if you’re not 100% sure what size will fit you best.  Definitely recommend it!

I used to use it all the time for formal events so that I didn’t have to keep buying new dresses. It can be tricky to find a good fit because the sizing is sometimes finicky, so I would reccomend only ordering dresses that have reviews for them. You can search for women with similar builds/sizes to you and see how that dress worked for them. Or you can opt for a longer rental period, have more than one size sent and send it back if it doesn’t work. They give you a refund (last time i used them) if nothing fits right. I have never had any “tired” looking dresses sent to me, but I’m sure it does happen sometimes.
