I’m not sure if this is allowed, but I am looking for a couple brides to do some designs for for free. I’m not scamming, I’m just a designer/illustrator looking to expand my portfolio and am not sure where to ask – not many friends/family are getting married anytime soon.
I have just a couple of criteria (just timing and a sample of finished product).
And if this isn’t allowed, can someone steer me in the direction of where to find people who’d be willing? 🙂

I would use you for my save the dates, havent set the date yet but I plan on it by the end of december for sure, if your willing to wait that long

That’s fine, I’d actually prefer it spaced out a bit since I have to paint my own invites and I still have a day job 😉

@bapbap: what timeline did you have in mind? I would love to know more… 🙂 PM me!

@bapbap: Would we have to commit to using your design in the end? You can PM me if you want to chat about it! I’m defineitly open to having someone design our invites!

@bapbap: I am interested! I’m so behind with invites — due to a family emergency.
I was going to use an open source software to design my own invites, but I haven’t made the time to do so. If there is any way you could help design a Word friendly template, so that I could bring it to Staples and mass-print it, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
(PS. Please PM me for design details)

@bapbap: Sure, we’d be sending out save the dates in the next couple of months, and invites a year after that – would that timing work for you? We’re both designers but terrible at art – if that makes sense! We’d love hand painted invites. Do you have a website or portfolio we could have a look at, to check out your style?
