I have been considering going to a whole foods and plant based diet for a long time. I feel like I am eating garbage, and my body is really craving something healthy. A friend reccomended this book, and it has really changed the way I look at food and health as a whole. I have gone from a perspective of thinking that food is just something I eat, to thinking that food is something I consume thoughtfully to get the best outcome for my body. I can see my health spiraling downward if I continue to live the nutritional lifestyle I do, so I think there is no better time for a change than now.
I also got some great inspiration from a blog a bee shared with me months ago. It is called Oh She Glows. It is about a young woman who took control of her life, and her eating habits. If you check out her before and after you will be amazed at the transformation her body has gone through.
Has anyone read this book, or made a change like this? I am looking for some inspiration and motivation!
