So thanks to all of you, I’ve discovered the magic that is DressilyMe and Jasmine’s Bridal. As someone who’s a) on a severe budget and b) wanting some customization on my dress, these seem like truly great options. Plus, one of my BMs is a Chinese native whose first language is Mandarin, so that might be an unexpected help if I need it 🙂
We’re having a subtley Renaissance-themed wedding (my fiance asked if he could wear chainmail and a tunic, and I said yes… so maybe not so subtle), and while I want my dress to have some medieval/Renaissance flair, I’m really in love with modern gowns and wanted to see if I could mix the two. Enter Jasmine’s Bridal and this beauty below that they say is based on a Mori Lee… but I can’t find the original anywhere. I definitely want to try on a similar dress to make sure the shape will work with my body (very tall and busty).
It shouldn’t be too hard to find/mashup an a-line, dropped waist with a sash, but does anyone know the name/style of the original? I’d probably try to stick pretty close to the original style, except add a corset back and maybe changing the sash to a dark hunter green.
Thanks in advance all!
