We’re going to PC, DR for our honeymoon and will be staying at the Royal Suites Turquesa. We are staying in the honeymoon suite. Has anyone stayed there before? Did you stay in the honeymoon suite? was it worth the extra money? What was your best and worst experiences? Sorry for all the questions, I’ve just read all the reviews online and I want some more to read… I’m pretty excited as you can see.

@JessicaPop: Hey ! I stayed in the family side of the resort- the Grand Palladium. I didn’t get to see the inside of the Suites (since it was exlcusive, couples only- they had butlers, and golf carts to go anywhere they wanted on the resort, and a private beach only for the couples) but there was a huge pool, some of the rooms were swim up. The restaurants at the family side (which is open to the Suites people, etc) were really awesome. Sorry I can’t speak to the honeymoon suite… but I know for me personally I spent most of the days on the beach 🙂 Even the family rooms had jacuzzis, so it all depends on what sort of experiene you want 🙂 I hope to go to RST for my noneymoon one day!

@love108: Thanks so much. Everyone gives good reviews on the resort.. I’m so excited! There isn’t much out there though on the honeymoon suite so i’m going to post some info when we get back that you can use when making your final decisions. I heard the swim up suites are really awesome though, but we really wanted the all white honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi on the terrence.

@JessicaPop: Hey I just wanted to see if I could get a little review of the Royal Suites Turquesa from you as my fiance and I will be there in a few weeks on our honeymoon. I’ve been reading trip advisor for a few months and there really aren’t many poor reviews so I’m hoping your experience was great too!

@tashataniea: I just got back from here for my honeymoon this week!! It was the best vacation Ever! Seriously wonderful resort. I could go on and on so PM with any questions but some quick tips:
Email them a week before you go and tell them its your honeymoon and request a room upgrade/room you prefer. They will most likely upgrade you for free. They did for us. They also brought us a bottle of champagne and had a special honeymoon dinner for us on the last night. So nice!
Bring lotion with you. It costs 25 dollars down there!
Bring your own canteen/bottle for drinks as they will fill those up for you.
