The straps on my wedding shoes are a little tight across my foot. They’re made of satin, I believe. Here’s a picture:
Does anyone know a good way to stretch them out a little? I don’t think fabric stretches the way leather can. I’ve been wearing them around with socks but they don’t seem to be changing very much.

@moonadea: Miss Wizard posted a blog about stretching her wedding shoes, which looked like fabric to me. She stuck wool socks rolled up in them every night and said it worked!

I have wide feet and can never seem to find cute shoes that come in wide, so I’ve done it before 😉
Use a hairdryer to get the fabric really hot and then walk around in them for a while. The heat breaks down the glues/ stabilizers in most fabric shoes. It also works well with leather.
You might also look into ordering a shoe stretcher if this is a recurring problem. I know you can get them on Amazon for about $20. They’re worth the money!

soak in warm water and then put your feet in them till they dry and they will fit perfect
