    Hi,

Has anyone tried PIYO (pilates and yoga)? I am thinking about going to a class tomorrow and I don't know what to expect. I have never been to a class at the gym (except an ab class).

What classes do you take at the gym?

I have tried it!  I had never done PI or YO, so it was a learning experience, but it definitely wasnt too tough!  I would totally take it again.  Right now I am taking a lot of classes bc I am so over the tread and elliptical.  I take Zumba, Boxing, Turbo Kick, HIIT, Boot Camp.  They are all great!!!!

We offer PIYO at our gym but I have yet to take it.  I teach Body Pump and soon Body Combat but I love taking spin classes and cardio fusion classes.  I've not tried Body Jam yet as we don't offer it.  Should be fun!

@stephinPA: I saw a body pump class and was intimindated. I may try body combat when I get in better shape.

DO IT. We used to have a great business manager at my office who arranged for a PiYo instructor to come to our office twice a week for anyone who wanted to chip in for the private class fee. It was awesome. Two hours a week and I could feel every single muscle in my body.

I went last week and loved it! It was a really good workout. I am going again today. The gym changed the name of the class from PiYo to yoga fusion. LOL
