What of you got gold ribbon and put that around the straps, I'm thinking of the frilly look- I hope you get what I'm sayin' :)
Not sure if you were planning to put it on the "top" or the "bottom" of the shoe but I would also be cautious to use a stamp or paint on the top so that when people put their feet in they dont get paint or stamp on their foot. I love the idea of a ribbon or perhaps some bedazzling?!? :)
Oooh, have you tried a clear coat of nail polish? Since it's clear, you won't need to brush the entire length of the "band" but rather a cm past your ink'ed part?

For my wedding my FI and I are having a bunch of flip flops available for the ladies to change into once the dancing starts and their heels starting killing them :) I know this is a popular idea so I am hoping that someone might be able to help with this.
We want to personalize the flip flops so at first we were going to monogram them with a stencil and some fabric paint. We discovered that didn't work quite as well as we had hoped. So next we found the cutest wedding stamps and used them with a gold ink pad (the flip flops are brown). They looked fantastic!!
The problem is the ink doesn't seem to be drying and smudges very easily (it's been 2 days). Has anyone else personalized their flip flops and if so, how did you do it/what did you use?
Thanks Hive :)
