I have been playing around with some embossing details on my invites and was thinking it would look cute to also emboss our return address label which will be stamped on the back of the envelope. I wanted to see if anyone used a vista prints pre-inked stamp for return address to emboss?? Is the ink good enough quality- or does it stay wet long enough to apply the embossing powder…
Lastly, if Fiance and I are living together and paying for the wedding, how should our name be or whose name should be the head of the return address label?
Thanks so much for any help/advice!
This is Vista Prints website for pre-inked return address labels:

I have never used the pre-inked stamps to emboss. But I did buy one for my Save-the-Dates and it’s kind of bad quality. The ink clumped in certain letters, so some of the stamps looked fine but some looked clumpy (in the letters B, P, O, A, etc…letters with a little space where the ink pooled). Also, the stamp is really small, so it might not have the right detail needed to emboss.
With that said, if you’re ordering from Vistaprint anyways, and the stamp is free, you’re far enough away from your date to try it out for yourself! Good Luck!

I ordered the big stamp at vistaprint and stamped it on the back of the envelopes for the return address. Turned out fine. This is from someone who was not particular about invites. Remember though, the small stamp (that is usually free) is SMALL- I think it’s too small to use for that. I didn’t get it with a name for a few reasons:
1. most return addresses on invites don’t
2. I wanted to use it after the wedding, and I almost never put the last name on the return address.
3. The correct thing would have been to use my maiden name, but then after the wedding it would be better for the married name.
