MissFormaldehyde: I think FreckledFox: uses them and likes them a lot. Or it may have been another Charter? I recall someone liking them. I bet she’ll respond to this tag, and if it wasn’t her she might remember who it was. I use the Wondfo ones off of amazon myself and love them. Wondfo pregnancy tests suck though, I’d only buy OPK’s from them.

MissFormaldehyde: I use Wondfo for both ovulation and pregnancy and love them.

Your SO is in rehab. Please don’t bring a baby into this situation.

It sounds like you’ve been trying for a while, which I know is really hard, but this is bad timing. Please don’t use a baby as an excuse for you not to drink while he’s getting sober or as a reason to encourage him to settle down. Especially if you’re not sure that you’ll be compatible once he’s not using. And especially-especially since that’s a huge stressor to have to deal with while he’s trying to get sober. The general suggestion is no major changes (new relationships, school, babies, etc.) until a person has been substance-free for at least a full year.

MissFormaldehyde: I don’t doubt that – I’m going through fertility issues myself, and it’s tough. Just be prepared to be a single, non-partying mother, if can’t stay sober. Please be a responsible non-partying mother, regardless. Babies tend to be buzz-kills.

I personally used dollar store pregnancy tests each month and bought a digital test when it was positive.

MissFormaldehyde: That’s only two months ago, and you have admitted to having HUGE hurdles in your relationship. Don’t subject a baby to that kind of life.
