@Bubalou: It really depends on what you want. I use Vistaprint for everything, and I love it. My STDs, invitations, and RSVP cards were very simple though, laid out like postcards. Make sure you get at least the linen finish for a heavier feel.
I used Vistaprint for all of my paper needs, and I had a great experience! Everything was priced lower than anyplace else, plus the quality was good. They have a great selection of templates to choose from, or you can upload your own.
Yes - and they charged me MORE for the shipping than for the stickers I was buying! It was a total ripoff!
I used them for my sister in law's baby shower invites. They turned out really cute and I'll probably use them for my shower invites. The only thing I didn't like were the shipping prices.
I just used them for my Save the Date magnets. They were great! I uploaded my own design and since we had two sets of the Groupon discounts (pay $17 for $70 credit) I made two orders, one under my name, one under FI. Ordered 100 magnets on mine, 50 plus 200 custom printed envelopes for them (they only sell those in increments of 100 so I have 200 vs 150). They came within 4 days! One problem--my set of 100 was slightly off with the trimming which made my border a tiny bit off center vertically. I am really picky about alignment so I called and they barely asked me anything, and reprinted/cut/shipped all 100 for free--and I got those within 3 days. Their customer service was excellent and the quality is great, I have no complaints. Printing mishaps happen and that is why I ordered early and had plenty of time to correct the problem. I am definitely using them again for our business printing!
Look online for coupons, sign up for their mailing list and you will get tons of discounts on % off and shipping deals too. Keep your eyes open for the groupon discounts, my 200 envelopes and 150 (plus 100 slightly off center) large magnets cost under $50 all together.
I used them to print our directions (made to look like postcards) and it was fantastic!
I used them for our invitations, RSVP postcards, a thank you sign, and a business card with our wedding website. It was a great deal, I was really pleased with how they came out, and there are coupons and sales all the time.
I also thought the shipping rate was reasonable, especially given the number of things I've managed to get free with each order. There are some bees who are really good at getting free stuff from them (well, free plus shipping).
I have used them a ton in the past year! I've gotten a friend's shower invites, our invites, reception cards and reply cards, address labels and our thank you cards. We didn't have a problem with anything! Got groupons - $10 for $50 - and ended up paying under $60 for 125 invites and both reply cards and shipping. You have to play around a bit if you want to change the wording or colors on the invites, but if you are semi computer saavy it's not too bad and is definitely worth the price. I second Miss Longcoat on getting the linen finish on the paper. The envelopes are pretty thin so you may want to make your own liners. For us, we decided it wasn't a huge deal and went with what they sent - no one saves the envelope anyway! We uploaded a wedding photo for our thank yous and those turned out gorgeous! Depending on how fast you need the item, the shipping can be pricey. But, if you do the budget shipping it's fairly reasonable and never takes as long as they project. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!
I had a mixed experience with them and that's probably why I won't use them for my wedding.
I ordered graduation cards, matching envelopes and thank you cards from Vistaprint last year when my son graduated high school. They were good quality and beautiful.
However, instead of putting our home address on the envelopes as the return address, they put the schools address. It was too late to get new ones, so I had to deal with it. Several people that responded or sent gifts, sent them to the school. It was a huge hassle. I was given a $40 credit, so that's why I'm not really complaining too much. I knew I was taking a risk like that when I decided to go outside of the school to get the invitations.
I routinely used them in a professional office environment for our marketing materials and they were great everytime...
@petru003: Oh yeah, good point on the envelopes - I did end up using different ones.
That's great news! I bought a Groupon with them, and when I was looking into it, I read all these negative reviews. I'm very glad to hear so many of you had positive experiences, thanks for the feedback!

I was planning on getting my invitations printed with Vistaprint, but came across a forum (not here) about how awful it is, what a scam it can be, the customer service is terrible, orders are messed up, etc. So, I'm hoping to get feedback from Bees who have used it before I place my order. Thanks!
