I haven't used it but I've heard about it through the industry and I think it could be fun. You'd have to be prepared for the fact the footage wouldn't be perfect but if you heart isn't set on a perfect professional video, I think its a great idea.
Thanks for the feedback. We are not getting a videographer, but I did want to have someone video the ceremony for us. I was going to just buy a Flip HD camera (for $200) and give it to someone that day. I'm wondering if it's worth another $300 to have 5 cameras, and 5 different perspectives. Hmmm....
I'd love to hear if anyone else has heard anything.

Someone referred me to Wedit, which is an online company that lends out 5 HD Flip cameras so guests can "video" the event. You then send the cameras back and they upload the footage and their system allows you to edit the videos yourselves. The cost is a lot more reasonable to a videographer ($500). I was considering just buying a Flip camera and having someone video the ceremony, but this might be fun - especially for some of our early-teen guests. Has anyone used this service or know of someone who has?
