Not for me. I like ornate, blingy rings. My band is less bling (should be here Thursday FINALLY!) .66ct pink diamond and rose gold band.

msformaldehyde:  love that!!

Fashion is always changing. You dont have to follow trends. I think a solitaire will always look timeless and beautiful. OP, your set is very pretty.

Meh… i wasnt a fan of trendy rings when we got engaged. Trendy at the time were either solitaires or clusters. Since I plan on keeping the same ring forever, trends were not on my mind.

Now halos seem to be common here…and solitaires.

People obviously should get what ther perfer. My ring isnt a super popular choice but it was exactly what I wanted…and could afford. I love beautiful, ornate rings like verragio or tacori but they dont suit my lifestyle or budget lol

I still see tons of solitiares here on the bee…

errrr…. anything is an option I guess!?

People choose what they like.. I don;t think it’s a question of fashion changing.. I’m not even sure how this question should be answered …lol

I prefer simple and classic, and my wedding set is pretty simple.  It’s a diamond in a thin pave band with a tin pave wedding ring.  It’s not blingy at all.  I like that.  It’s all a matter of taste.

Yes, its an option. For people who like it.

Some people gravitate towards simplicity, some people follow trends. Neither are wrong. Differences are what makes the world go ’round, especially when it comes to fashion.

FWIW, I don’t think solitaires are trendy.  They seem to be a classic style.  I have a very simple three stone ring without additional embellishment.

Is this a real question or just a reason to show us your ring? Honestly, I’m confused by this.

Xu:  It’s a post to show the ring and get comps.

The current trend definitely leans towards a blinged out rings. The trend has been giving me all kinds of heartburn since we started designing my new ring.

Xu:  LilRhodyGem:  lol. I love when people say (out loud) what I was thinking. I took the nice approach and just answered the question though. I have a “trendy” ring. *shrugs*
