Nope. Although I did love her dress. Our wedding fit the 2 of us just fine, we were both very happy and had fun even though we lacked “royal-ness”.

Nope. But I am pretty jealous of those trees lining the aisle…

Not really, I always wanted a touch of princess for my wedding day anyway, but I’m not changing anything because of the royal wedding.

Funnily enough I have the same style of veil as Kate had, which was exciting to see! I hadn’t decided whether to wear it in front as a blusher yet or not, but since seeing her wear my type of veil as a blusher, it has made me lean towards doing that as well!

The only thing that has changed is me dreaming about Kate’s reception dress. Otherwise, I haven’t blinked an eye about the royal wedding!

@icedchaitea: I think I’m unaffected for the same reason you’re affected by it. Haha! It’s just too princess-y for me, and unrealistic for my taste I suppose. Even though I watched everything and loved it, I didn’t change anything for myself. 🙂

Yes! Really only in the dress catagory– I LOVE the long lace sleeves, the demure sweetheart neckline, the lace back and most of all the BUSTLE! I am waiting for designers to start putting out Kate-inspired dresses so I can get one!

I really liked her lace sleeves and am thinking about getting a long sleeve lace bolero for later in the evening, but that is something i wanted long before the royal wedding.

I enjoyed the lace, it was beautiful. I thought she did a beautiful job and designing her dress. The closest thing I was doing to what she had was looking for lace dresses with keyhole backs but could not find one that I liked.  There is no way to duplicate anything they did and too late anyways.

The only thing is I am styling my hair after Pippas hair.
