Just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else. I already called the dr and waiting for a call back. I’m just really freaked out.
I have been ttc for 17 cycles now. I am 29 and going through some early fertility testing. Nothing abnormal has been found yet so the infertility is unexplained so far. We finally concieved in June but that turned out to be a chemical.
I am very regular cycle wise, always 28-30 days like clockwork each month. My periods are not very heavy at all- in fact I would say they are a bit on the lighter side. They usually last about 4 days.
I stared AF on the 3rd of August, but this time, it only lasted about 2 days. Only kind of heavy for one day, then it quickly tapered off. Figured it was just a short period and went on with my life.
Well 10 days later last night I go to the bathroom and notice I am bleeding. Not heavy, but not super light either. No other symptoms. I go to bed a few hrs later and wait to see what happens in AM.
Fast forward to today, and I have just not felt good at all. Mainly chills and stomach ache which is really weird. Kind of like AF but I can tell a difference. There was very minmal brown spotting this morning, so minimal it was bearly even there…and for the rest of the day to this point there has been no spotting and bleeding at all.
Sorry for the novel. Just really wondering if anyone else with a perfectly normal cycle each month has had this happen to them and what it wound up being??

I don’t know if this has any bearing on what’s happening with you, but you asked if anyone has experienced similar, so I’ll share. I occasionally get mid-cycle bleeding that I think is associated with ovulation. I asked a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood about it, and she said that when the egg breaks free, sometimes the blood vessles around it can bleed a little. I always noticed this kind of bleeding as bright red streaks in the EWCM. (I had this occur the month I got pregnant).
The other time I had weird mid-cycle bleeding was following a very strong allergic reaction to mango. I had stomach cramps/diarrhea, hives, and swelling in my face and hands (which finally went away with lots of benadryl and ice packs), and then the next day I started bleeding down there. The bleeding lasted several days, which kind of freaked me out.
Anyway, I hope you’re okay! Keep us updated with what the Dr. says.

could you be pregnant? I don’t want to get your hopes up but maybe it wouldn’t hurt to test and rule it out

PackerBackerBee: Did you get really severe cramps on day 1, August 3rd? I’m freaking out a bit, myself, bnow because I am going through this same thing this month, around the same timeline as you and on top of that, our user names and avatars are similar.
However, we are infertile, so no idea what’s going on with me.

How are you doing OP? Any changes in symptoms? Have you taken a test?

I had something similar happen to me and it ended up being a leision of some sort in my uterus. It went on for 3 months. I think it was birth control related.

Hi guys, thanks so much for the feedback. Doctor told me to take a test as well. I took two and both came up negative.
The next day after I wrote this post I felt completely fine and had no bleeding so, my doc doesnt seem very concerned and said it didnt warrant an office visit. Dr. did mention that it could be ovulation spotting, although it seemed it was too early, it’s still possible to ovulate earlier than usual in a cycle. They said to call if it happens again.
I am due for an annual check up pretty soon as well so that should ease some anxiety. Thanks so much ladies!

GreenBayBee: Oh wow love there is another greenbay fan on this board!! Football season can’t come soon enough….I need some distraction from TTC…or a hobby =P
I had pretty good cramping on the first day (Aug 3) but I wouldn’t say it was severe. Just pretty standard. And irritating. LOL. Did you look into what yours could be?

PackerBackerBee: this is all just too weird… because my last couple of cycles I have spotted inbetween and the first time I was like you and was confused. Even had some similar symptoms. I track, so I looked and it was during the days i was suppsoed to be ovulating. This month was the 3rd cycle it’s happeend. Goign in to see my OBGYN to get checked out mainly because i have endometriosis along with some other issues.
I dont have any advice to give, just noticing another thing we have in common lol

PackerBackerBee: Yay, Packers!
No idea yet. Started my second period in less than a month this weekend. Definitely booking a doc appointment.
