I use Turbo Tax every year, and that's never happened to me. Did you double check all the numbers and make sure you didn't accidentally change one of them right before finalizing things?
Was it adding in the State Refund amount? I have had it do, I think the same thing, to me before, they are trying to push you to buy the state returns also.
@tksjewelry: Oh, yes I think thats it. I was gonna do my state with them too, until I found out I have to pay. I will doublecheck just in case. Thanks bees.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I used Turbo tax last night for my federal tax and when it was over, it gave me an amount of what I will get back, but then when I was about to send it in, it said a different price. 300 more actually!
So Im like, now what? I dont think I put in any information that would change anything from the first amount to the second amount. I trust Turbo Tax but is this normal? They give u one amount when u are basically done, but then give u another amount when you are about to efile it.
So bees, who have used Turbo tax, have u seen this? Should I worry about this? Or do you think whatever amounts you see doesnt matter until the very last given amount when you are about to efile?
I dont mind getting back an extra 300, but I want to get it back if I am supposed to, not because of a mistake that Turbo tax did.
