I don’t have pics but I tried this dress on and I LOVED it….except for the crumbcatcher top.  It was very flattering though and I felt like it fit more like an a-line rather than fit and flare.

I tried on this dress. I am not a fan of fit and flare either (which is funny because the dress I ordered is a mermaid! The one’s I hated the most!), but I actually didn’t hate this dress. I agree that is fit more like an A-line. I didn’t pick it because I wanted all over lace, but it was still a very pretty dress!

Here is a picture of me in the dress. I am a size 12, so it was very flattering.

@marinesfiance:  I think this dress is so so so beautiful, but if you aren’t sure about the style then don’t buy it until you’ve tried it on. The dress gently flares in this picture but you never know what it will look like in real life on your figure. The top also looks pretty fitted so if you’re worried about it clinging to the wrong places then I don’t think you should buy it before you’ve worn it.

I tried on this dress twice (I’m a size 00P, 5ft 95lbs).

I didnt like it too much because the bust looked too Disney princess-y for my taste (but details are beautiful).

I ended up buying this dress instead.

I’m also not a huge fit & flare type – I wanted an a-line for sure!

But by all means, you should try it on.  You can never tell if something will look good on you unless you try it on!

Everything made me look too tiny & ugly (as if I’m trying on someone else’s dress) till the last dress – yet everything looked so good on all those models in the pics and on the rack…. D:

@marinesfiance:  I think the dress would look good on a pear shape! I’m technically a pear shape (though very hard to tell) and the dress looked good with my shape.  The design just wasn’t my type.

Here’s another dressed I tried on with similar fit style:

I honestly think bigger hip line would make the dress look more elegant!

@marinesfiance:  I just googled AA 2243 to look at the shape – I think the DB dress will look way better (in terms of shape and fit) since it doesn’t/shouldn’t be so tight around the hip area.

Hope you will like it when you try it on! I personally only tryed on dresses at DB due to my budget – and I was lucky to have good customer experience with them.

My fiance has no idea what my dress looks like, but when I showed him few styles randomly here and there, he doesn’t seem to like fit & flare styles (yay). Haha.
