Can I just say I dispise football season and wish my fiancé was half as excited about house projects or our first home as he is about a bunch of men running around and bashing each other over a ball for entirely too much money!!

I love football season. I probably like football more than DH does.

@Jessica_Rabbit: I’m with you! I LOVE football!
When we were dating, my husband told me that one of the reasons that he fell in love with me is because I actually knew football. I didn’t pretend to like it as some women do… I knew the game, inside and out!

@marierose: I hate it too! But that’s because I’m a soccer fan 😉

@marierose: I’m torn about it. I don’t mind watching it but I hate it when our weekend revolves around our college and NFL team. He even had us plan around the games on our honeymoon! At least it’s almost over…

Football season is the best! We wait all year for football to start!

Better than baseball season. IT GOES ON FOREVER.

@marierose: I hate it too! I don’t really hate football, it can be really fun… but I am sick of seeing it SO OFTEN! AH! Its on right now!!!!
🙁 DH is obsessed and even created a statistical model to predict which team will win (DH is a nerd.. lol!)
So over it!

At least your football season is relatively short…our football (soccer) season lasts from July to end of May!!

@jessicadarling: I bet soccer can get pretty intense, but at least there’s not a “Fantasy Soccer!” Lol 😉

@marierose: Hang in there. I’m counting down the days until it’s over also. Good thing we have 2 TVs!

@MrsBonJovi: I know the game and enjoy it on occasion, but it’s the ONGOING hype that gets old quickly, especially when it interferes with life and more important things.

I used to strongly dislike football, but I am a changed woman, haha. Mostly because I joined a fantasy football league this year and it made it waaaay more fun. It actually became something that FI and I were able to bond over! Although now that FF is over I’m starting to lose my patience with all the non-stop games (except for when it’s a Niners game!). 🙂
@SweetartMD: Haha omg this is totally something I could see FI doing. I almost mentioned it to him and then stopped and realized I need him to help with more chores since we’re having his friends over tomorrow to watch…wait for it…football. Haha!

@MrsBeck: Thank goodness! I’m in the same boat where I won’t plan (or at least try not to plan) anything significant like a wedding, baby, etc. during the season… It’s THAT bad! Now, in my fiancé’s defense, he’s not a nut with five screens and two computers propped up all day long, but he literally cuts himself off from the rest of the world for the games. Again, I can respect his “hobby” and appreciate his passion–just wish it wasn’t so interfering with our lives and even my feelings. 🙁

@SweetartMD: Ditto!! Just wish he would balance his focus and attention a bit better. And when the season ends, it’s spring training! Baseball isn’t as bad, but it’s still a sport he will indulge himself with, especially with fantasy leagues and when his team does well.
