My friend had a bright teal blue streak in her hair for her wedding. It was so her, and it looked awesome!

Not doing anything for my wedding, but I used to have purple, blue and black waist length braids. It was my fave hairdo.

For you, I think it totally depends upon your wedding colours and style etc though.

If your hair is black, it’s going to take a lot of bleach to lift out all the color to make the streaks blue or lavender. I suggest having streaks put in with the keratin bonds. No damage!

I have had just about every color you can think of as my hair color at some point… except green, I never really did green I guess.

But anyway it’s awesome and I’d be doing it still today if I didn’t have a job that insisted I look like a normal adult. (BORING.)

For my wedding I plan to have bright pink hair with a tinge of red. 🙂 My vote is for lavender streaks

i had hot pink and turquoise hair for my wedding. my friend and family didn’t think anything of it because i’ve had funky hair for so long and it’s just me. they would have been more shocked if i didn’t have colorful hair. i’m not sure if my husband’s friends/family thought it was weird.

the girls at the shop where  bought my dress were surprised to see me with my colorful hair 2 days before the wedding. they were like, “you’re actually getting married with that hair?” lol. but my florist thought it was awesome, haha.

if you want to see pics, i can e-mail you some 🙂

It’s really difficult to get your hair pastel colors unless you have a lot of time and money to get it professionally done and maintained. I wanted lavender before, but my hair would have to essentially be completely white to get anywhere near the color I wanted.

You could also do coloured extentions if you didn’t want to over-process your hair! I think it would be pretty awesome, my vote is for a very romantic lavender!

im not married yet but this is the colour of my hair at the moment…

its a purple/blue. ive got another 4 months to go for the wedding but the colour will be this sort of thing.

i have bright colours in my hair all the time – to the point where when i dyed it all dark people asked me if i was ok!! 🙂

i have had a few comments and concerned looks when i tell people that my hair will be blue/purple for the wedding but anyone who actually matters (or knows me!) wouldnt expect anything less.

i vote for the lavender – if your bleaching up 1st i would make sure you get a ‘clean’ lift otherwise it might affect the lavender and make it go patchy. you could use hair chalk – they do some lovely pastel colours.xxxx
