So I we’d wedding dress shopping on Tuesday and ended up buying my dress! I remember it was beautiful, but not feeling as if it was ‘the one’.
The next day I was stressing and worried wondering if I had made the right decision in the dress I bought and If settled, but my boyfriend gently reminded me that when I ahead asked him for the money I sounded like I loved it. The problem is! We are having a simple wedding! And I’m not sure if this fits the theme of ‘simple’. I definately wanted lace, a sweetheart neckline and more fitted, as that style suited me more, but it is very jewelled at the top- which is beautiful! I just wanted some advice, it’s stressing me out!!
this is the dress I bought on me: (take into mind it’s 2 sizes too big and not fitted

@Jessilj: def yes!!!! Love it!!!!!!!! It is your wedding, so wear whatever you feel like wearing!! Even if you wont have a super fancy wedding, I think you should wear what you love! And I think a tiny bit of dress “regret” hits almost every bride. I would totally wear this beauty too, it’s gorgeous!

LOVE IT! Honestly, it looks pretty simple in the first three pics, so I’m assuming from far away, it won’t look that detailed. If you love it, wear it! It’s a wedding – If you can’t be over the top now, when can you?

It is a beautiful dress, but I don’t think it complements your figure as much as it should. The tulle at the bottom sort of drowns out the rest of the dress (but maybe it’s because it’s a sample?).

YES! You look gorgeous! Have no regrets!

I think it is absolutely stunning on you! However, you are the only one who can decide if you have made the right choice. I had put a deposit down on a gorgeous Lazaro ballgown that I everyone in the salon was swooning over. Peer pressure happened, and I put a little bit of money down on it. But it wasn’t MY dress, and I realized that soon after.
Our opinions only go so far. There is no doubt you look drop dead gorgeous in it, but are YOU happy with it? Can you see yourself walking down the aisle in this dress? Will you be happy with your decision looking back on photos in 20 years?
All questions to ask yourself on whether or not this is your dress. There’s absolutely no argument you are beautiful in it!

@Jessilj: I think you did a wonderful job with picking the dress. It is gorgeous and it flatters your body perfectly. Don’t have any doubts. But if you do, maybe go back to the store and try it on again. I am sure you will fall in love with it again.

LOVE IT! And I think it DOES look simple! It’s not a ballgown with pick ups!

@Jessilj: I would not worry about if it fits a simple wedding or not, I dont think its too over the top, for one and two…I’m wearing a lace ball gown to my simple, homemade, DIY wedding. I personally dont think you have to make the dress fit the venue, thats just dumb imo because if that were the case I’d be wearing a 1960’s style dress as I’m getting married in a tiny chapel church that hasn’t been updated in a few decades LOL , kwim?
You should shine on your day 🙂 I bet your FI loves it, its beautiful don’t doubt it.

It’s a very pretty dress. I would maybe add a sash or belt to it, because it’s making you look a little straight up-and-down. I wonder if a sash would make you look curvier?
I would normally caution against buying a dress on the first trip…your dress is lovely, but if you really have regret you should maybe take some time to try on some other dresses. Even if you end up coming back to this one, you’ll at least have peace of mind!
