I have yet to get that "wow" feeling with any one dress, though I really like a few of them. What I thought I wanted was a simple dress with straps...but I haven't been able to find one that I like at all. I'm starting to think that perhaps I may not get an aha moment, and that I should go with what I've found! So here are some possibilities...let me know what you all think!
I adore the one with lace! And i also this the third one done is very lovely on you.
Oops sorry for the double pictures! Apparently having some issues with uploading pictures haha!
The third one looks awesome on you! They're all beautiful, but very different. What is your venue, season, and type of wedding?
I had a hard time choosing between two dresses (satin ball gown vs. low-cut sheath lace with lots of bling). I ended up picking the one that I thought was the best fit for a big church wedding in spring. Satin it is, lol.
EDIT: Oh, duh! I just saw your season. You actually have the same date as me! :-)
The ceremony will be at a campus chapel, and the reception at either a hotel or golf course clubhouse...haven't decided that part yet. So semi-traditional, but my fiance and I are both laid back people so though it will be traditional, it won't be overly formal. The date is going to be early April.
To me the lacy one doesn't quite fit the occasion, but my mom absolutely loved that one which is why I considered it. The 3rd one is the most expensive (of course) but I'm sure would be my fiance's favorite since its not strapless!
I like the one with the brooch in the middle and the other one with the twist in the middle.
LOVE the one with the straps! It looks very elegant and classy.
I love the lace one! When I was scrolling through the pictures my reaction was "WOW!, meh, meh, meh, WOW again! Oh, it's the same dress" LOL
I love the sheath dress (the one you are wearing the pearls with). I wanted a simple dress with straps too.
I am really happy with it. It looked good here, but I was stunned after it was fitted. It looks much better. I love.
Thanks everyone! Its actually more helpful to have people you don't know give you feedback than people you do know!!!
WOW! they are all so pretty. I do love the first one the most. All that pretty lace. :)
I say wait for the "AHA" moment. I could be totally wrong, but I personally feel that if you don't have some level of that feeling, then you haven't found THE dress.
that said, I think they are all pretty, but #4 is the most flattering on you.
2 or 3, I like the way the sweatheart neckline or the v-neck look on you
I think you look great in all of them but I love the 3rd and 4th ones on you. Good luck!
I like 3 and 4 best, I think they show off your figure nicely : )
I vote for #3 -- sounds like it would fit well with your plans, too! I didn't have a big ah-ha moment either. When I found the dress that had the elements I was looking for I just went for it... I thought for sure I'd cry but I didn't. I do LOVE it though. :)
Lace is usually a shoe-in for me but I love #3 on you (like most everyone else).
Oh my.... the one with the straps and the brooch is absolutely gorgeous on you. And it fits what you originally wanted!
you look amazing in all of them. i like the lace dress a lot but it is not as flattering as the others. i like the one with the straps the most :)
You should make this into a poll :-)
I think they all look good but the first one (the lace) is so gorgeous on you! Win, win!
I personally love the lace one but I love lace dresses. I think all 3 look good on you but it sounds like none of these are giving you that feeling. I suggest to keep looking. Perhaps take a break, finalize the reception venue then resume the search. Dress hunting can get tiring, literally! Those dresses are heavy so you might be a little bit burnt out. And contrary to what bridal stores tell you, it doesn't take 9 months to produce a dress. My date is a month after yours and I've been told I have till 1st week of December to order.
I personally think No. 2 looks stunning on you. You could maybe get little straps on it or a bolero is you don't like bare shoulders.
They are all gorgeous! I love the first one (strapless lace) but #3 (with the brooch) is stunning too! You look great - I don't think you can go wrong! Have you gotten opinions from family or friends who know your personality and style?
