I voted for "something different" - your beautiful dress already has so much detail and ornamentation that I would pick a simple veil without lace or embroidery. But that's just me, of course!
I chose the silver embroidery veil. I think the style of your dress would look great with that one. From the looks of the poll, most bees feel the same.
With this outfit I would with a dropped veil like this

with a thin lace trim like this

I chose the second one but I dont know if thats because its on a real person...but I really like the detail on it...its very pretty
I personally wouldn't do lace with your dress...I would do a really pretty, white simple layered veil.
How about something like this? It could be worn either as a drop veil or a mantilla, and it has embroidery, but it's a bit more subdued.

I like it but the scalloped edge won't look good with your gown. You need a straight edge because the hem is straight.
I'm with @colette27 on this: your dress has so much gorgeous detail that a simple veil might work best. Good luck!
I wouldn't go with a lace trim... but both are really pretty. Have you tried them on with the dress?
I haven't gotten to try anything on with my dress yet. I have a fitting tomorrow, but the bridal shop doesn't have a lot of selection. But, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Both of them are pretty. I think a simple veil without lace would be nice, too, since the dress has a lot of detail already.
Both of them are so pretty and I had a hard time telling them apart actually! I think either one would look nice with your dress or just a straight edged lace veil
yeah i agree.. i would not do lace..yes they are pretty but i dont think it will match the style of your gown, which is really pretty by the way! i would go for something totaly different, maybe a simple classic veil with a beading trim or something..
The first two are gorgeous options that would actually work! But I selected something different since the dress is nicely decorated already. My idea is more of an elegant yet simple veil so it wouldn't be too much of a distraction from the BEAUTIFUL gown itself :)
GOOD LUCK!

Hi Hive! I got my dress, Harriet by Maggie Sottero, about a month ago and have been looking at veils ever since. I'm pretty much stuck at this point - I just keep going back and forth between the two! Here's a picture of the dress, plus the two veils I'm considering.
Veil 1 - Re-embroidered lace
Veil 2 - silver embroidery
What do you think? Have you had any veil dilemmas?
