Just a thought, but why not push the wedding up?  There’s no reason not to get married sooner!  I think when you have the baby you’re going to have more and better things to do than plan a wedding.

Congratulations!

There are like, three million lies you can tell as to why the wedding is being set back…

the venue you loved wasn’t available..

you have hay fever…

it’s locust season…

that’s when a hoarde of man eating monsters raiding the tulip fields in Denmark that time of year….

you both want to go to Burning Man….

your future mother in law is allergic to the sun

the chinese acrobats off season isn’t until then….

you really wanted to mine your own gold ore for the wedding bands and have to get a permit

It doesn’t even really matter what you say..and I’ve got like a million of these…I’m a ridiculous lie factory, hit me up any time.

P.S. – Babies in wagons are awesome at weddings!…just sayin

@Nona99:  all these reasons are super plausible wish I’d said one of these when I postponed mine instead  of my boring reason

@HisPrincess2012:  Is there a particular reason you don’t want to show at your wedding? Pregnant women are beautiful too! πŸ˜›

@HisPrincess2012:  I was just thinking about one of my friends who got married at 6 or 7 months pregnant – she was such a beautiful bride!  And I know she was happy to have the wedding over with before taking care of a newborn.

@HisPrincess2012:  Sorry to hear about your change in plans, but congrats on the baby! I wish you a great pregnancy and hope you get a little bit excited.

This is actually a worry for me as well, been with FI for 3 1/2 years and we’re not getting married until 2014. It’s destination so I absoultely CANNOT get preggers, especially after deposits have been made and flights/hotels have been booked. At the same time I feel if it’s meant to be who am I to stop it? Guess we better start wrapping it up πŸ™
