I was excited for everyone, just seeing who will actually be attending is the fun part! Also since our dinner is a seated service, seeing what each guest choose an their entree was very important since we did not have an exact total for the venue until the entree choices were in.
We invited 139 people, with 116 attending, 8 of this total are kids. Very happy with the turn out, and since we had way less actually being able to attend and we budgeted for 139 we decided to add one of the venues enchancement packages since we ended up being below budget for the venue. We choose the table side wine service during dinner! The staff will go to each table and offer wine to them while they are eating! I thought it was awesome and would love this added touch as a guest myself. :)
@mishagirls79: Wow Your wedding is SOON Congrats!!! Awwww. I WISH we had that issue. We invited 173 and were hoping for only 150 to come but it's looking like 170 will come so we will have to pay for extras at our venue. Yuck LOL. Hope everything goes PERFECTLY at your wedding and can't wait to see your recap!!!!
My wedding is the weekend before yours and I still haven't sent out invitations (doing so this weekend) eeks!
I screeched and ran around the house when i saw that someone had purchased something off our registry unexpectedly and I'm sure I will be just like you when we get our first RSVP cards back.
One of the things I'm really looking forward to is I included a line for guests to request a song for the DJ and I'm really looking forward to seeing what they write down! :)
@csteen85: I thought about doing the DJ thing too, but I had already had my invites printed when I read the idea so I was too late:( It would be kinda fun to see what people request but knowing my family and my FI's family it would be all country songs and I love country too BUT it's hard for people to dance to it unless they can 2-step ya know? So that's why I didn't add a separate line sheet. Good luck with your invites. I didn't get any back today and was sad:( hahahaha.
Awwww, wedding twins! Thats so exciting! I still havent even sent mine out yet oops
@fron330: Ya I think I sent mine out a little early:) BUT I am a school teacher and was on Winter break for 2 weeks so they were kinda staring me in the face LOL

I got my 1st reply cards back today (actually 3 of them) and it was sooooo exciting. I screached when I ran in the house and FI an I opened them together. We texted my mom,m grandma and his mom and I jumped up and down. It just felt so real and even he was excited because I was al giggly. Just had to share my excitement with all my fellow bees. Did anyone else get this excited over getting their 1st reply cards back? I can't wait to check the mail every day now!!!
