Impressive! I have actually heard that it’s pretty easy to toilet train cats. If I wasn’t so allergic and got another kitty, I might try it!

@Pinkmoon:  OMG this is amazing!! Did you use special litter pans that fit in the toilet? Has he had any accidents? How old is he?

ETA: we were thinking about trying this with our kitty, but she’s not the brightest bulb in the box and DH thinks it’ll be impossible since she’s already 3 years old….I’m totally going to show this to him when I get home!

HOLY CRAP! (no pun intended)

I’m so jealous! My cats are too stupid or too stubborn to learn anything, I can’t even teach them to stop climbing on the kitchen counters when I’m not home. That’s so impressive! What a lucky lady you are to have such a smart little man (that’s what I call my cat too).

I’m so ridiculously jealous! I want to try this with my cat so bad but don’t think he’d go for it.

SO FREAKING AWESOME!!! I wish we would have trained our little girl this way. She’s already 4 so probably too old. Plus I have a huge issue with the lid being left up, so I would probably put it down and then she’d be $hit out of luck… lol

That. Is. Awesome.

Wish I could train my 100lb pony (dog) to use the toilet! Cats are so cool, it’s too bad that I’m so allergic!

@Pinkmoon:  Just cut back the pan VERY slowly! We moved too fast with our cat and she ended up falling in and then absolutely REFUSING to try again… I felt terrible too… We ended up with a Litter Robot instead which is almost as easy and then I didn’t have to worry about the bathroom door or toilet lid be closed accidentally, but it would’ve been really cool if we’d made it work…

@Pinkmoon:  Very cool. Maybe once we move and have more then one bathroom we will give it a shot. I am sure my DH would love it! I am pregnant and he has been having to change the litter.. before this he only changed it like maybe 5 times in 4 years… needless to say he is over it already and I am only 8 weeks! lol
