Tomorrow, I start the Insanity 60-day program. I’ve lost about 60 pounds in the past few years, and with my wedding looming in August, I want to lose a little bit more and tone up a little.
Has anyone done it?Any tips? I know people talk about it on the Fitness board, but I feel like this side of WeddingBee is a bit more active so I might get more responses.

I haven’t done it yet. Tried the Fit Test a year ago when I was trying to get it shape and it was too much. I’m going to try it again soon.

I tried it over a year ago and hurt my back doing it. So be careful. LOTS of jumps. Make sure to invest in good shoes for all the jumps you do. It is very intense but I’ve heard you will see results if you stick to it AND follow their meal plan. Again, lots of jumps, pushups, stuff like that. If you don’t already workout on a somewhat regular basis then I would not advise starting it up. Good luck!
I have less than 6 months until my wedding and want to lose 10-15 lbs and tone up so I hired a personal trainer. One day I do want to try and actually finish Insanity so I can say I did it though.

I haven’t done Insanity but I have done p90x which is another beach bod workout. My suggestion would be to keep pushing yourself but also remember to be happy with what you can achieve. It’s definately tough, personally I loved the challenge and saw great results from it! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated and fruit and veggies are your friends for energy. Also do a before and after picture because honestly who doesn’t like to see results :).

I just finished week 3 yesterday! I love it! It’s honestly my favorite workout I’ve ever done. I have never sweated like this before. It’s hard, I wont lie, but I’ve lost around 6 pounds and have definitely lost inches. Fiance and I took before pics and I took another yesterday to compare and I could definitely tell a difference!
Ill be interested to see how you like it. I’m slightly obsessed!

I started it two weeks ago. The number hasn’t gone down on the scale yet but my clothes are definitely starting to fit better! The workouts are tough but I always feel awesome when I’m done. I think it’s crucial to wear a heart monitor and take small breaks when needed. I still can’t get through any of the workouts without stopping for multiple short breaks but I’m getting better!!

I did it at the beginning of the year – I love it a lot. I usually stick to running, but Insanity helped me tone up.
I’m back to running again, because I’ve decided to do my first ever 5K, which will hopefully lead to further runs for me.
After I run this 5K I think I’ll do it again though, because I really want to keep the tone. I always took breaks when I felt like I needed it, and if you follow along with the video and take it slower at first, you’ll get better. I noticed a definite improvement in my cardio and my ability to do everything, but you have to keep pushing.
Good luck! Let us know how you like it.
