yeah my secretaries have walked in on me sewing my satin baskets together and punching holes in my thank you labels for my favors, now it's not a surprise, they'll say what are you working on now? lol
So guilty but I work 24 hours on duty.. But very very guilty not only that I will get to put together some of my DIY stuff here.. Yep I have it nice.
Heck I'm at work now... Have not only this up but also a spreadsheet up that I'm working on and my "wedding flash drive" plugged in!
funny my boss even helped me with the temperamental copy machine as I was working on invitations
SOME wedding stuff? Um try ALOT of wedding stuff. Both me and my coworker are getting married and in each others weddings, we constantly talk about it and plan at work. Our boss sits right next to us (we have a large glorified cubicle that everyone sits in) so she hears and sees everything but doesnt mind. Though she cant wait til our weddings are over so she doesnt gets asked her opinion and tons of questions every day :)
My mom calls me with RSVP updates, we look at our registries, looked at inspriation pics online, are on weddingbee ALL THE TIME, set up appointments, etc. Everything :)
I do wedding stuff all the time at work. I designed my STD's and the invites that I didn't end up using while using Publisher on a work computer. I also do my homework there too. I guess I'm not the best employee.
Guilty, guilty, guilty. I do a lot of my budget and on paper planning at work as well as keep up with the blogs on my Google Reader and Weddingbee.
Completely guilty. Sometimes I get more done at work then outside of work! My job has definite "down time" though, so the job isn't suffering.
Guilty -- but mostly of just Weddingbee-ing all day long. I haven't really "done" anything ... yet ... I'm still 7 months out! :)
Guilty as charged! Most of the time though is spend on Wedding Bee. Most of the wedding stuff I cannot do at work or I haven't gotten to that point yet. I am sure I will though with the count down being less then 4 months!!
I'm guilty of it as well. I seem to spend a lot of time on Wedding Bee, but I have gotten a lot of DIY done here on the job. I have printed all my invitations, cut my invitations and assembled my invitations all at work. Also have done my labels for my favors at work and looked up a ton of stuff online and ordered wedding stuff online at work!! But work does come first, we've just been slow lately which is a godsend for me, but not the company!!
I tend to do emails and make phone calls while at work. I have yet to craft here! But I work so darn much there would be no time for me to do wedding planning outside the office so I can't feel too guilty ; )
SO Guilty! I have designed the invitations and the STDs as well as emailing my vendors like a crazy woman! I basically have planned and designed most everything while at work. I am going to start working on the escort cards soon so I'm sure I will be doing that here as well! Oh and we have a great cutting board that I use all the time. I'm glad to know I am not the only one ![]()
Hell yeah. Even my lab assistants are sick of my wedding prep. LOL
Half my students are also aware I am in the midst of wedding maddness. LOL
I know my secretaries keep walking in on me on the weddingbee site, hey as long as I get my work done that's all that matters
Yep, Guilty. I have done all my emails, phone calls and contracting at work. It's hard to get a hold of people after 5 pm.
haha. YES. WAY guilty. I designed my StD's here, approved invites, STALKED Weddingbee, and emailed a ton of vendors. I don't think I'll break out the craft stuff too badly, but you never know!
Everyday.....! I mix in some real work as well just to keep it interesting :)

This is totally me, spreadsheets, flash drive, and all!!!!
ALWAYS! I seriously keep Weddingbee open from 10-3 and periodically refresh the page. I have also done my STDs completely scrapbook/craft style. Printed my invites, rsvp cards, envelopes and designed and printed maps. Wow, I've also made an excel workbook titled wedding everything that I am always updating.
And my favorite.....I made my favors (shot glasses with various love quotes on them). my "S" cake topper, and my FI's titanium wedding band! I work in a manufacturing company and am so furtunate to be able to make super custom wedding goodies!
Doing it right now on my lunch break!
i spent so much time communicating with vendors, making lists, and generally handling wedding planning bizness over the past few months, its not even funny. my boss cant NOT know...she practically encouraged it!
I'm guilty. But the funny thing is, not only do a couple of my employees give ideas, but my boss helps too! And her son (My boss is the owner, her son is manager) sang "Memories of Us" by Keith Urban at her youngest daughters wedding. It's SO pretty. I didn't even know it was him
I could get him to be my wedding singer! LOL
I Weddingbee at work, and sometimes add to my spreadsheets if I get an email with something I need to add. I try really hard not to do any actual wedding tasks at work (aside from scheduling appointments)... but it's never far from my mind!
I've been daydreaming about music all day....and staring at the SAME spreadsheet. I'm trying, but i'm mentally so far away from the task at hand.
I'm guilty at looking through blogs and other wedding web sites, but that's as far as I'll go. Even if I had a job where my boss didn't care, I still don't think I would do much, it's just irresponsible in my mind, especially with the economy as it is. I don't want my boss thinking, "hmm out of 40 hours a week, at least half of that is spent doing outside things, do I really need this employee?" Even if I get my normal, deadline driven work done in 10 hours doesn't mean I can spend the remaining 30 hours working on wedding stuff, or anything non-work related for that matter.
Beyond that, if I don't upgrade my home computer in the near future, I will be designing my invites, etc on my work computer (sweet MAC with all the latest design programs). However, I will be working extra hours then by coming early, staying late, or skipping lunch - and I'll be sure to inform my boss WHY I'm staying late. If he tells me not to worry about making up the time, then great, but I'm not just going to assume it's okay.
LOL Right now! But really I just surf my wedding blogs for a couple of minutes various time through out the day. I don't think I wil get in trouble because my co-workers (all men) are on their sports boards all day too.

ok, I admit I am guilty.
It's only because I am working 3 weekends before the wedding plus i have an incredibly busy schedule one month prior.
What have I done at work? My invitations, my addresses, my flowergirl baskets and headdresses, my guestbook, my favors labels
wow, I can get a lot done in between work, if they catch me Oh Well, they know I'm getting married I have to work around it, so be it
