yep, that's definitely my day today! I love me some 'bee time! my work on the other hand...... not so much!
*sheepishly raises hand*...
Then I kick myself on those weeknights I have to stay late or weekends I have to log in to make up for lost productivity.
As long as all my projects get done well and on time, I figure we're ok. Even if I'm doing work at home instead of at work.
I am at work and not doing that nor am I editing my FI's ecology paper like he asked, they both sound ooooooooooo so boring.
I do that.
But luckily my boss is one of those people who doesn't care what you do as long as you get your work done.
@Belle2Be: Me too! This is so much better. I hate putting away laundry. I don't mind doing laundry, just don't ask me to put it away. Ugh.
I have NO idea what I did yesterday. DH left in the morning, and came home at the end of the day, I was in the same spot. I blame it on being upset about the cat ;)
bwah! this made me giggle as i too was charged with editing a paper for FI today. mmmkaynotrightnowthanks.
it's all medical terms anyway, like a whoseit and whatit how in the heck can i edit this anyway?!
i used to keep a post it on my computer that said "NO WB!" to try and stop myself. didn't work, haha!
Dude, today I HAD to get some stuff done. So I HAD to promise myself NO Bee till after lunch.... its after lunch now! :)
@Belle2Be: He has a fluid build up in his abdomen. He was diagnosed with a large tumor in his chest back in February so we've been living very successfully on borrowed time since then. It seems this is a very bad indication although he seems cuddly and happy. We had it drained and we're waiting for the results of the fluid tap in the next day or two. Poor monkey :( We're having lots of snuggle time while we can.
@dolce bella: The one I am editing has all this scientific stuff about turning saltwater into seawater and some more blah blah blah. Mainly since English is my FI's second language I change alot of word tenses and sentence structure. It is funny because when he talks I do not notice these things but when he writes I am like stop inverting sentences!!
oh! this is so sad. i will cuddle my kitten tonight as a reminder and send good juju your and *insert kitten's name here* way.
@bakerella: Oh that's sad :( I'm sending good vibes! I had a cat once who they told us at 6 months she wouldn't make it to a year, and she lived for about 7 years :D
OH NO @Belle2Be damnyouautocorrect.com might be my new downfall, HAHAHAH! Those are hilarious and somehow I bet they never get old :)
@dolce bella: @Belle2Be: Thanks ladies. I think we're both doing better today. Smee is a fighter, he's made it this long. Hopefully we'll find something out from the test results tomorrow and go from there!
Back to that laundry though.... Oh but I did make sugar cookies today. However I used a cookie stamp and the imprints didn't stay that well during baking. Whoops.
it's like a vacation in the middle of the day.... some people have tropical screen savers... i have the Bee.
Funny, unrelated story, i recently divulged my obsession with the Bee to FI and have.not.heard.the.end.of.it.

Ugh, I spend WAY too much time here instead of working (like right now!) but I get my stuff done and that's what really matters. I just can't help myself. Every time there is a new post, it's like a mini Christmas for me. I think I need to go to Bee-aholics Anonymous.
