somethingblue04:  I have not (I’ve heard it hurts/stings and I’m a huge wuss), however I know several people that have had it and love the results.  I think you have to go back every 6-8 months to get “touch ups” so if you don’t like the results, at least they’re not permanent.

I get about 50 or so injections each underarm every 4 months (totes gross I know, but totes grosser if I don’t) the injections I get are just under the skin and hurt like a mother lover. Like. Vomit reflex plain. And getting it into muscles (like you would for your face) would hurt wayyyyy worse. So while I can’t comment on how it will help you appearance, I can say 100% I would nevverrrrr get it done in the face for the pain factor.

not to turn you off, or anything :p

I’m also 28 and been having botox about once per year since I was 25. Even at 25 I had a deep frown in between my eyebrows which made me look tired and angry, I’ve been a convert ever since my first treatment! It’s painless(needle is so fine you don’t feel a thing)& I’ve never had any serious side effects just a slight headache for an hour afterwards. It makes my whole face look refreshed & slightly arches my eyebrows which I love.

Catcat1:  There is zero pain, seriously! I’ve been getting it between my eyebrows for years.

Yes!  Love!  As an elder Bee, I’ve had to step it up to every 4 mos.  I used to be able to get by with every 6.  One thing zi’m adamant about is thai I will only be injected by the cosmetic surgeon, not trained injectors.

sassy411:  Absolutely, I wouldn’t recommend getting it done at a beauty salon/dentist(they seem to be popping up everywhere!)I have mine done at an actual cosmetic clinic and it’s administered by a doctor, get mine done again in a few weeks for my wedding 🙂

LudaRae:  haha. That’s great to hear. Maybe I just have a super bad reaction, my neaurologist always tells me ‘this hurts way less than botox in the forehead’… He probably thinks I am a wimp :p

I have had it once and it was fab… I’ll probably get it redone soon. I have really bad frown lines on my forehead and it not only smoothed them out, it stopped me frowning as much because it got me out of the habit. As a result, I looked years younger. I wouldn’t redo my other expression lines though… I think that smile lines etc give a face character in a good way.

It really didn’t hurt at all (that said, I do have quite a high pain tolerance). Very quick, very reasonably priced as well (had it done in a beauty parlour). I thought it would be hundreds and hundreds of pounds, but it wasn’t. Lasted about 6 months. Took about 6 days to get the full effect… and your face does look a bit odd in the meantime as the effect spreads out from the injection site.

Catcat1:  I would think under the arms would be pretty sore but I literally don’t feel a thing when I have it done between my brows, maybe a tiny scratching sensation but no pain! ps I would love to try botox on my armpits but it’s so expensive! Does it completely eliminate sweating?
