I think this would be great! People will like that it is different.
I think the lounge seating is amazing, especially if there is seating for everyone.
I have never been to a lounge wedding; however, I do think it is a nice idea. The only concern that I would have is that there would need to be some chairs with back for older people and other people with back problems.

We just decided on a new venue (yes, a week before the wedding) and we have a chair shortage, but I am really into this idea of using the lounge chairs the venue is giving us for free (it is a lounge bar) for the ceremony... it would be in a room overlooking the city by night and it doesn´t have a lot of lighting but we can turn off the black light and the colored lights and drape some white fabric around the altar, bring as many candles as we can and arrange the lounge seating in a semi-circle... could this be totally ugly and too contemporary for our guests ¿?
