I haven’t heard that really, but what gets me is “OMG that’s so soon”!!! It freaks me out because i’ve been planning this for so long and people kept saying, oh you have plenty of time!

I think people just don’t really know what to say. LOL I hear you, OP, it’s stressful. When people are like, “WOW, that’s just a month away!” in my head my response is, “Really? I hadn’t noticed at all…” -_-

It’s like when people see a last-trimester-pregnant woman and say things like, “Wow, look at you! You’re ready to pop!” Seriously? But some people literally don’t have anything better to say lol

I used to get people saying that to me about 6 months ago… And I was like “we’ve got ages left, of COURSE we haven’t got everything done!!”.. Now I still haven’t got it all done and phase 4 weeks! Eeeek! Had a bit of a mini panic attack today worrying about everything! So many little bits and bobs are racing round my head still to do! x

uhhhh my dress isnt in yet, I dont have shoes, a coat or accessories because I’m waiting for the dress to come in, I owe everyone money, I have not finalized decor, the menu or the “cake” yet and we have to write the entire ceremony.  NOTHING IS DONE YET

I have most things done…but it’s the little things and details I’m stressing aBout! 1 month from today! I CAN’T believe it!

I just wish all the RSVPs would come in!! deadline is today and I am still missing several!

Yes. I get it at work almost every single day. “You probably have everything finished by now.” Yeah, sure.

What is driving me nuts is the people saying “You must be getting so excited!”  Well no, actually, I’m getting so stressed, because all the little things that I’ve been putting off for the past year now actually need to get done!  Add to that the guests who haven’t RSVPed or booked their hotel room before the block expired, and yea, I’m definitely not sitting back with a cool drink that’s for sure.

I’m so anti-wedding planning right now that if anyone brings it up I have to act excited but really just want it to be over with. Hopefully I can get my butt in gear and finish what I need to!

@Little_Nut88:  I just keep repeating to myself , “it is NOT my problem if guests forget to book hotel!” Seems to help 😉

Yes!! So sick of hearing that! Um, no, sorry. There’s no such thing as being done wedding planning until you’re wedding is over. I’m a firm believer in that.

What’s worse is this: Twice this weekend I told people I was getting married in 6 weeks and they both said “don’t do it”. Ok, obviously I’m committed to getting married, I’m 6 weeks out and the LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR IS DONT DO IT. sorry for my rant, but come on, seriously? Couldn’t you just smile and say congratulations and think “don’t do it” in your head? I put on a smile and laughed it off politely, while inside I was saying EFF OFF. Did you really have to say it out loud? Grrrr. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yup, I cannot stand to hear that question! That question is so, so, so annoying! The one that really irks me is when they say “I hope everything goes well!” I’m like really?!? WTF? What the heck do you mean you “hope”? As a bride, I have to believe and KNOW that it will go well. I don’t need Debbie Downers.

I still have a million things to do, seriously. I need a to do list and an extra burst of energy to get the list done. Im still super excited though; it’s all because of him. FH’s gentle touch is enough to motivate me to take a trip to Antartica and I hate the cold! Lol
