I personally think that if getting cosmetic surgery will make someone happy, then they should go for it. I personally would love to get a breast reduction (my DD’s kill my back and make it very difficult to find clothes that fit). If I had the money, I’d do it in a New York minute.
I wouldn’t ever get anything done on my face. There are things about my face that I wish are different, but I wouldn’t want to not recognize myself in the mirror. I don’t know how Heidi Montag can look at her reflection without freaking out.

I had plastic surgery a little over 5 years ago, and I was very happy with my decision. I think it’s fine if it will help someone be happier with themselves.

danadelphia- I had a breast reduction 1.5 years ago. A breast reduction is NOT cosmetic surgery! It is considered re-constructive surgery. I had a breast reduction because I had horrible back and neck pain. I also suffered from chronic migraines. The drs took over 4 pounds off my chest.
Anyways, if you have health insurance and feel like you suffer from health problems due to large breasts, the procedure may be fully or partially covered by your insurance company. I will say that it is major surgery and a big life decision, so do your research etc…
I hope you don’t think I am being too forward with this message. Breast reduction was a major decision for me and I get a bit upset when people joke that I had plastic surgery. I had a surgery that solved major health problems and greatly improved my life. The fact that I can wear clothes better is great, but was truly a side matter when deciding to go forward with the surgery. Good luck!

I never have, but if the money is there, I plan on having a breast augmentation after DH and I are done having kids. I don’t want to go bigger, just want the girls to be restored to their previous perkiness after I’m done breast feeding. lol

I haven’t but I don’t have a big problem with it. I could see maybe getting a boob lift when I’m done having kids or something.

I haven’t, but I could absolutely see myself doing it someday if I have the money/need. I could definitely see myself getting a tummy tuck/breast lift when I’m done having kids!

I have no problems with it but I don’t think there is anything I would do. My mom had a tummy tuck and breast reduction when I was a kid.

I would get my boobs picked back up after kids.

I haven’t at this point, but I plan on it after having children. I don’t need to look like I did at 21, but think a decent tummy tuck and breast lift would be well deserved.
I may someday have rhinoplasty as an incident of the fact that I have pollops that could impede breathing in the future. If I ever have that surgery, I’m going to take the opportunity to do cosmetic changes as well.

i’ll always want chin liposuction. not that it’s bad now, but i’ve never had a strong or distinct jaw line unless i am really conscious about how i hold myself and i know that with age it will just get worse. in ten years, i’ll probably get it done, if not sooner.

I definitely wouldn’t classify breast reduction as a typical cosmetic surgery either. I have two friends who have gotten them and they say it’s the best decision they ever made. They both had large breasts that caused severe back pain and now the back pain is gone…as is all the unwanted, “I’m up here!” attention. No vanity in wanting that surgery at all.
I personally have no desire for any sort of cosmetic surgery, and hope to age gracefully. I do, however, worry about how pregnancy will affect my body though. I plan to schedule a C-section, but if I didn’t, I might consider getting surgery to tighten things up ‘down there’ back to how they were before. I don’t know if boob sagging will be a problem for me either, since I have a pretty small chest right now, but I would seriously consider it if it became a major problem after childbirth.

I have always wanted a nose job…but I’m afraid I’d have that 90s Beverly Hills plastic surgery victim look. Anyone have a nose job recently?
